Three-star cornerback Jackson Mathews announced his commitment to Tennessee on Sunday. The 2024 prospect held offers from Ball State and Arkansas State. [affiliatewidget_smgtolocal] The 6-foot-1, 190-pound cornerback is from Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. Mathews is the No. 217 cornerback and No. 82 player in Tennessee, according to 247Sports . Mathews recorded 66 tackles and four interceptions as a junior last season. As a sophomore, he totaled 21 tackles and one forced fumble.
